Casino Rama 3 Concert

Review by Maureen Melong

Tanya Tucker's concert  last night at Casino Rama was fantastic! As usual Miss T sounded awesome & she looked great. She has daughter Presley as one of her backup singers now & an amazing guy called Tim Allen who plays great guitar & has a good voice also. Her show wasn't as long as usual, she said she'd had dental work done a couple days ago & was having some difficulty with that....sure didn't interfere with her singing though. She hasn't lost her comedic skills either & was quite funny at times...except when she sang 'Two Sparrows in a Hurricane' & talked about her Dad & Mother...her Mother turns 83 in a couple days, and I know is not well. She still has difficulty over the loss of her Dad a few years ago, and was visibly choked up singing that song...even Presley wiped away a couple of tears. Here is the set list as best I remember it:

1. Some Kind Of Trouble

2. I'll Come Back As Another Woman

3. Little Things

4. Strong Enough To Bend

5. San Antonio Stroll (Presley came over & strolled with her)

6. Jamestown Ferry

7. Hangin In

8. Oh, What It Did To Me

9. A Memory Like I'm Gonna Be

10. Love Me Like You Used To

11. Don't Go Out (accompanied by Tim Allen)

Here Presley sang two songs, one of Merle Haggard's "Teach Me To Forget", and one she  wrote herself, an upbeat, rockin' tune. She sounded amazing!

12. Old Weakness

13. Lizzie And The Rainman

14. Down To My Last Teardrop

15. Two Sparrows In A Hurricane

16. Amazing Grace/Delta Dawn
